Maternity cover (Year 1)
Full time position based in Basingstoke.
Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)
An opportunity has arisen for a primary class teacher to join a friendly school from November 2025 to cover a Year 1 maternity cover. You must have experience teaching up to KS1 children to be considered.
We are looking for someone who:
* Is creative and full of enthusiasm.
* Is a very good classroom teacher.
* Experienced and has high expectations of learning and behaviour in the classroom.
* Is a qualified teacher with QTS
* Has strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
Requirements:
* An enhanced child only DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one.
* Two contact references from most recent employers.
* An up-to-date CV outlining career history from education.
