We are currently recruiting for an Governance Manager in Bangor. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork, ANI clearance has been completed.

Rate of pay: £21.99
Hours of work : 9 – 5 Monday to Friday
(7.4 hours per day)
Key Responsibilities:
The purpose of the position is to manage the day-to-day administration and monitoring of grant funding to three Sectoral Bodies, as well as to act as the key liaison / point of contact between the three Sectoral Bodies and the Department, providing briefing/Ministerial advice, responding to AQs, correspondence, invitations etc. in relation to the three Sectoral Bodies. Duties include (but not limited to): Assessment of grant applications and funding requests Preparation and agreement of business cases and PPEs as required Assessment of resource requirements and notifying DE Finance of requirements/bids as appropriate. Developing and agreeing Letters of Offer (LoO) for each organisation. Implementing agreed procedures to administer and monitor grant support, including verification visits and FSCAs to ensure compliance with terms and conditions set out in LoO. Assessing Quarterly progress reports of each organisation and provide timely feedback. Complying with DE Audit requests. Ensuring prompt payment and monitoring of claims and expenditure for sectoral bodies. Considering and advising on pay awards for sectoral bodies staff. Ministerial Support – To support and provide briefing, draft responses to AQs, etc. as required within deadlines related to the Sectoral Bodies
Essential Criteria applicants must have:
Relevant degree certificate
Excellent IT skills, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Excellent communication skills.
Proven ability to use own initiative.
