Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)
Location: Horley PCN GP Surgery, Surrey
Salary: £54,000 - £58,000 (pro-rata for part-time)
Hours: Part-time or full-time (flexible, hours/week)
Contract: Permanent
We are a friendly, forward-thinking Primary Care Network (PCN) GP surgery in Horley seeking an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary team. Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct autonomous consultations for undifferentiated acute and chronic conditions, including history-taking, diagnosis, and management plans.
* Prescribe medications within your scope of practice, in line with NICE guidelines.
* Order and interpret diagnostic tests (e.g., bloods, ECGs) and refer appropriately to secondary care.
* Support minor illness clinics, health promotion, and long-term condition management.
* Collaborate with GPs, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver integrated PCN services.
* Maintain accurate patient records using SystmOne or similar systems.
Person Specification:
* Registered Nurse with MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice (or equivalent) and non-medical prescriber qualification.
* At least 2 years' post-qualification experience in primary care or urgent care.
* Excellent communication skills, with a compassionate and evidence-based approach.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team; IT proficiency essential.
