Queen Elizabeth High School is seeking a passionate and ambitious SENDCo to lead inclusive practice and drive improved outcomes for our pupils with SEND. This is an exciting opportunity to shape whole-school provision and work as part of a forward-thinking Team. This opportunity is suited to a skilled classroom practitioner ready to take the next step into SEND leadership, or an existing SENDCo seeking further experience within a supportive Trust environment.
The main purpose of the role is to lead the whole school SEND in partnership with all stakeholders, to enhance inclusion and improve student outcomes for all pupils on the SEND register. The SENDCo will be line managed by the Director for Teaching and Learning and will be required to work closely with the wider pastoral team, class teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure that all pupils are receiving the support they need to be successful at QEHS.
