About the Role

Key responsibilities include:
* Teaching English across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage 5)
* Planning and delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
* Supporting pupils to develop analytical, writing, and comprehension skills
* Preparing pupils for GCSE and/or A-Level examinations
* Monitoring and assessing pupil progress
* Contributing to curriculum development within the department
* Supporting extracurricular activities such as debating, writing clubs, or school publications
Experience and Skills
The successful candidate will:
* Hold QTS or an equivalent teaching qualification
* Have strong subject knowledge in English
* Be confident teaching across multiple key stages
