An opportunity has arisen within Neighbourhoods, Regeneration and Sustainability for 9 LES Operative 2s to join our Deep Clean Teams on a permanent basis.

Position Details
Duties will involve assisting with the delivery of a range of tasks covering the general maintenance of highways, properties, open spaces, inland waterways, and parks. You will also assist higher graded operatives / tradesmen with more skilled work.
Good communication skills, an ability to deal with the public and work within a team are essential. Previous experience of labouring and operating equipment is advantageous although full training will be provided. The location is city-wide, and candidates must be prepared to work at any Depot location as required.

It is anticipated that interviews will take place week commencing 6 October 2025.
Contract Details
Weekly Hours: 37 per week
Work Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm; and Friday, 8am - 3:30pm inclusive of a 30-minute unpaid break each day.
Annual Salary: £24,611.10
Additional Payments: In addition to the annual salary the role attracts an annual non-standard work pattern/hours (NSWPH) payment of £1,357 plus an annual working context & demand (WCD) payment of £1,172.
