The Role:
We are proud to be working with a delightful primary academy in the Barnsley area. The school has strongmunity links, priding themselves on the strong relationships they have built with parents, carers, families and other members of themunity. Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
2. Provide one-on-one support for students who require additional help.
3. Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
4. Prepare and organise teaching materials and resources.
5. Support students with special educational needs (SEN) and adapt activities to meet their needs.
6. Supervise students during break times and school trips.
7. Assist with the assessment and recording of students' progress.
8. Foster a safe and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Requirements:
9. Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in Key Stage 2.
10. A relevant qualification (, Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate).
11. Strongmunication and interpersonal skills.
12. Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.
13. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
