Recovery Coordinator - Family Support and Safeguarding Team
We’re looking for 5 experienced and passionate individuals to support families and individuals who are experiencing the impact of substance misuse. You will be part of a new partnership venture with Children’s Social Care to develop an evidence-based approach to family safeguarding. Internal secondments are welcomed.

Full-Time Hours 37.5 Per week
Full Time Salary Range £27,861.26 - £32,002.35
Contract Type Fixed Term until 31st March 2027
Responsibilities
* Provide a package of support and care to the adult substance user, while working alongside other agencies to support the whole family.
* Work within a multi-disciplinary team including children’s social care, substance misuse, mental health, and domestic abuse partners to support integrated working with families and improve outcomes.

What you will need to be successful
* Extensive experience and knowledge of safeguarding practice and policy
* Experience in managing caseloads
* Commitment to multi-agency working and establishing partnerships with other professionals
* Accomplished written and verbal communication skills and a high degree of personal IT competency
* Ability to accurately update and maintain records in a timely fashion and to work to deadlines for the submission of information, e.g. reports
* Excellent time management and the ability to work on own initiative and prioritise
* Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, maintaining a cooperative approach to delivering service objectives
* Good working knowledge of drug and alcohol-related harm and risks

Additional information
DBS check at enhanced level required.
Sponsorship Not eligible for Health and Care Worker visa. Visa sponsorship may be possible under the Skilled Worker route if minimum salary requirements are met.
