What the Job Involves Your role involves providing expert conservation and heritage advice for key redevelopment sites in Sutton Town Centre, liaising closely with Historic England and other stakeholders. You will offer specialist advice on development proposals, negotiate heritage solutions at the pre-application stage, and review important planning documents such as the Sutton Town Centre Conservation Area Character Appraisal. This part-time position (14.5 hours per week) requires you to balance strategic planning tasks with active participation in the development management process to manage and support Sutton’s growth while conserving its historic environment.
