As we continue to grow, we're looking for a passionate and driven Buyers Admin Assistant to support our Buyer and play a key role in shaping our collections. This is the perfect opportunity for someone eager to begin their career in fashion buying and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Buyer and wider B&M team across both Menswear and Womenswear
* Raise and update purchase orders accurately
* Support with data entry, ensuring product data is accurately maintained in internal systems
* Liaise with suppliers to track product and delivery updates.
* Communicate effectively with internal departments including Merchandising, Design and Marketing.
* Support with trade reporting including sales performance, bestsellers, and stock levels.
* Assist with ad hoc reporting and analysis as required by the Buyer.
* Conduct competitor and market research to support product development and trend forecasting.
* Assist with range planning and the preparation of the showroom for internal meetings and sign offs.
What We’re Looking For:
* A genuine passion for fashion and a strong interest in the buying process
* A good understanding of The Couture Club brand and our customer
* Highly organised with great time-management skills and attention to detail.
* Strong numeracy skills and confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
* Confident communicator, both written and verbal
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, reactive environment
* Proactive can-do attitude and a willingness to learn
* 1-2 years previous experience in a retail or fashion environment (internships, work experience or part-time roles) is a bonus - but not essential.
* Knowledge of the buying calendar and product lifecycle is beneficial.
Salary: Up to £24,800 per year (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
