Full Time Equivalent Salary: £27,964 - £30,146 (CLF Grade C) based on 37 hours per week, all year round.

1. 1 – 10 hours per week – Year 1/2 – (actual salary - £6,471 - £6,976 – 2 hours per day afternoons)
2. 2 – 18.75 hours per week – Lower KS2 – (actual salary - £12,134 - £13,081 – 3.75 hours per day - mornings)
3. 3 – 17.5 hours per week – Key stage 1 (actual salary - £11,325 - £12,209 – Monday to Friday, 3.5 hours per day - mornings)
4. 4 – 18.75 hours per week – Year 5 – (actual salary - £12,134 - £13,081 – 3.75 hours per day - mornings)
5. 5 – 28.5 hours per week – EYFS – (actual salary - £18,444 - £19,883 – 5.75 hours per day)
We are seeking passionate and skilled Level 2 Teaching Assistants to join Haywood Village Academy's supportive team. We are part of a diverse multi-academy trust committed to transforming pupils' learning experiences.

The successful candidates will assist in the educational, personal, and social development of students under the guidance of colleagues such as the Principal, SENCo, and class teachers. Responsibilities include supporting students with tailored strategies to access the curriculum, engaging them in learning, and supporting their full potential. Providing specialist support in areas like curriculum aspects or additional needs to impact student attainment and well-being, working collaboratively with colleagues, and supporting less experienced staff as needed.
About you:
You will:
* Understand classroom roles and how a TA supports student learning.
* Engage students and manage behavior individually or in small groups.
* Be committed to relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent, and first aid certification for professional development.
* Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, including empathy and active listening.
* Have good planning and organizational skills for learning activities and materials.
* Be passionate about working with children and committed to inclusion.
