As an Electronic Engineer youll work primarily within the Electronic R&D team, responsible for helping to expand and enhance the range of services the company provides.
Electronic Engineer Key Duties & Responsibilities
* Design electronics for surface and downhole tools, including analysis, schematic capture and simulation
* Develop hardware and software for testing and production
* Plan, prepare and conduct the qualification of new designs and technology
* Generate engineering reports and operating and build procedures
* Support internal and external customers on technical queries
* Support operations by working at client sites
Skills & Experience
* Degree qualification in Electronics Engineering
* Previous experience in electronic design
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Proficiency with standard computer applications
* Experience in the oil and gas sector
* Experience with high temperature electronics
* Analogue and low power electronics design experience
* Experience of hybrid or multi-chip modules
* Experience of PCB layout
* Software/firmware programming
* Ability and willingness to occasionally travel, possibly offshore
