UAV Technologist - Salisbury | £60,000 - £70,000
An advanced aerospace and autonomous systems organisation is looking for a UxS Technologist to support the development and integration of next-generation uncrewed and autonomous platforms.
This is a hands-on engineering and R&D role working across autonomy, avionics, systems engineering and emerging technologies. You’ll help bridge the gap between concept and operational capability, supporting the development of future UAS platforms in a fast-moving technical environment.
This will be in a new division within this organisation, working on platforms that will; help shape the future of the industry.
You’ll be involved in:
* Researching and evaluating emerging UxS technologies
* Supporting systems integration and technical development activities
* Prototyping, experimental testing and engineering trials
* Working across autonomy, sensing and flight systems
* Supporting technical documentation, bids and innovation projects
Key Experience Needed
* Background in UAS, robotics, avionics or autonomous systems
* Strong systems engineering or autonomy understanding
* Hands-on prototyping or experimental engineering experience
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
