Overview
Join to apply for the Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterology role at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust. This is a full-time permanent post (10 PA) for a Consultant Paediatric Gastroenterologist to join an enthusiastic and dynamic multidisciplinary paediatric Gastroenterology team. The service provides comprehensive high quality tertiary Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition across the South West of England.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic colleague to join a current team of 6 consultants (5.7 WTE). The applicants must possess CCT or be within 6 months of completing the CCT or equivalent in Paediatric Gastroenterology and be eligible for GMC sub-speciality register for Paediatric Gastroenterology.
The service is based at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, part of UHBW. The Trust serves a catchment population of over 1 million children region-wide and collaborates closely with the University of Bristol and University of the West of England (UWE). The Trust is committed to education, research and outstanding patient care, with strong links to teaching hospitals in the region.

Responsibilities
* Provide leadership and delivery of a high-quality tertiary Paediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition service.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to manage a wide range of paediatric GI conditions.
* Contribute to teaching, clinical governance, and research activities within the Trust and affiliated universities.
* Engage in service development to meet regional needs and ensure excellent patient care across the South West of England.
Qualifications
* CCT in Paediatric Gastroenterology or equivalent, or within 6 months of completion, eligible for GMC sub-specialty register for Paediatric Gastroenterology.
