Dealership Accountant
* Based in Edinburgh
* Basic Salary: £42,000 per year
* Bonus Potential: Up to £8,000
* Company Car
* Full-Time - Monday to Friday
We are currently recruiting for a Dealership Accountant on behalf of a respected motor trade group in the Edinburgh area. This is a key position within the business, offering strong financial rewards and the use of a fully electric company vehicle.
What's on Offer for the Successful Dealership Accountant:
* Basic salary of £42,000 per annum
* Performance-based bonus - OTE up to £50,000
* Company Car as part of your package
* 37.5 hour working week, Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage monthly management accounts, reporting, and financial analysis
* Handle budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking
* Control vehicle stock values, WIP, aged debt and invoice reconciliation
* Provide accurate, timely financial data for decision-making
* Ensure compliance with internal processes and external audit requirements
* Supervise and mentor junior accounts staff as required
Ideal Dealership Accountant Profile:
* Previous experience in a dealership accounting role is essential
* Skilled in using Kerridge or Pinnacle DMS systems
* Fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or QBE with proven motor trade accounting background
* Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
* Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
