About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for a Legal Billings Coordinator to join a fast-paced Finance team within a leading international law firm.
This is a great opportunity for someone with 2 years Billing experience, who wants to continue to develop their skillset in a collaborative and progressive environment.
The role requires a resilient and commercially aware individual who thrives in a collaborative and positive working environment. You will play a key role in supporting billing operations while building strong relationships across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Draft sales ledger invoices in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
* Respond to queries from fee earners regarding draft billing requests
* Handle general sales ledger enquiries within the department
* Ensure SLAs are met, including timely responses and follow-ups on outstanding bill approvals
* Provide guidance to senior stakeholders on billing processes and procedures
* Build and maintain strong working relationships across finance and the wider business
* Prepare reconciliations, reports, and ad hoc financial information
Required Experience
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a billing or finance role
* Experience within a professional services environment
* Strong knowledge of VAT, particularly in an international context
* Experience with legal billing systems is advantageous
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
* Legal experience is a massive bonus, however if you have experience in complex billing/high volume environments, you will be considered
