The Bosville and Marmalade Hotels are looking for Sous Chefs to join their talented brigades on a full-time permanent basis working a minimum of 45 hours Monday through Sunday, 5 days out of 7.


The Dulse and Brose restaurant at the Bosville Hotels offers the best of Skye produce, cooked elegantly, in a modern setting. The menu highlights the wide variety of produce, seafood and delicacies from the amazing Skye larder.


The Chargrill restaurant at Marmalade Hotel specialises in steak and seafood; our menu is a tribute to passionate Scottish farmers and their excellent produce. Prime cuts of Scottish meat, grilled to order, and side dishes of fresh locally sourced ingredients, are matched to modern Scottish cooking techniques.


As a Sous Chef we seek candidates who are guest-focused and dedicated to creating memorable culinary experiences. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring that all health and safety procedures in a kitchen adhere to the highest standards. We seek individuals who take pride in their work, showcasing passionate guest service in every dish.

Job Responsibilities

* Prepare, cook and plate all dishes to agreed recipes/standards
* Ensure food quality and consistency
* Assist in menu planning
* Maintain a clean organised kitchen
* Ability to motivate, supervise and train junior staff members
* Have ability to communicate effectively with other staff members including front of house
* Lead the team in Head Chefs absence
* Monitor and manage stock levels and order with suppliers effectively
* All kitchen are different so full training will be given
* Adhere to all health and safety, HASAP and COSHH regulations
