This post is mostly working from home with once per month travel to Fareham, Hampshire office. Foster carers location areSouthampton and Bournemouth. There will be travel involved to see the carers every 4:6 weeks. Someone who lives close to Southampton or Bournemouth area would be ideal for this.
You must be a driver and have access to a car to be eligible for this role. The role is autonomous and you can organise your own schedule.
Responsibilities of the Supervising social worker:
* Offering monthly support and supervision to foster carers
* Updating assessments of current carers
* Being part of the OOH call system : this will be paid additionally
Requirements:
Must be a driver and have access to own car
Must have recent experience working as a fostering social worker, either within local authority or IFA
