Overview

We are seeking a Presales Solutions Engineer Team Lead to lead a high‑performing group of Solutions Engineers, partnering with Sales, Product, and R&D to drive expansion and adoption of Global-e’s platform in the region.
You will own the presales technical engagement, guiding merchants through solution discovery, integration best practices, and implementation strategy — while shaping and scaling the operational structure of the SE team.
Responsibilities
* Lead & Scale: Manage, mentor, and grow a regional team of Solutions Engineers; establish scalable practices and processes.
* Own the Technical Pitch: Act as a technical authority in sales conversations, tailoring Global-e’s capabilities to merchant needs.
* Design & Guide: Advise on best-in-class integration strategies (Shopify, SFCC, bespoke, etc.) to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term merchant success.
* Bridge Strategy & Execution: Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to align merchant goals with Global-e’s platform evolution.
* Be the Voice of the Field: Capture merchant feedback, flag recurring challenges, and influence product roadmap priorities.
* Stay Ahead of the Curve: Maintain deep expertise in Global-e’s platform and product roadmap, while staying informed on the latest eCommerce trends and cross-border innovations.
* Drive Operational Excellence: Refine and improve the SE team’s workflows, pipeline coverage, and capacity planning.
* Demonstrate Technical Excellence: Confidently showcase technical integrations and prototypes in real-world merchant environments, helping partners visualize the full potential of Global-e’s capabilities.
Qualifications
* 4+ years of experience in a similar technical and client-facing role, including solution design, integration and coordinating directly with clients in a SaaS environment
* Experience building and managing a Solutions or similar team
* Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
* BA/BS/master’s degree in computer science or another technical field
* Firm understanding of systems integration concepts, API implementation (RESTful services), technical architecture
* Experience in collaborating closely with remote teams
* Ability to learn and work with varying technological environments (including emerging technologies), methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT Technology space
* Ability to multitask and work well under deadlines in a changing environment
* Previous experience in eCommerce environment is a strong advantage
