The client is an established firm within Colchester. They work with a varied client base from SMEs to charities. They are looking to expand their team through recruiting a Bookkeeper.
Responsibilities:
As a Bookkeeper, you will…
1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for multiple clients
2. Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations with precision
3. Prepare and submit VAT returns in line with HMRC deadlines
4. Assist with management accounts and year-end preparation
5. Liaise directly with clients to resolve queries and support day-to-day finance needs
Requirements:
As a Bookkeeper, you will need…
6. AAT Level 3 or higher or qualify by experience
7. Experience within bookkeeping, ideally in a practice
8. Proficient in Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks (Xero certification desirable)
