Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently supporting a business based in Bath with a lovely atmosphere and team culture to find an Interim Accounts Receivable Controller to join them for a period of 12 months.
Role: Credit Control & Accounts Receivable
Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (DOE)
Duration: 12 months fixed term contract
Start date: End of Jan/Beginning of February 2026
Working hours & hybrid: 37.5 hours across the week. Hybrid is 2/3 days per week in the office
Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage customer accounts
Chase overdue invoices via phone, email, and written correspondence
Allocate incoming payments to customer accounts
Maintain up-to-date records of credit limits and payment terms
Prepare and distribute monthly debtor reports and aged debt analysis
Resolve customer queries
Support month-end processes, including reconciliations and reporting
Skills/Experience needed:
Proven experience in an Accounts Receivable/Credit Control role
Excellent communicator
Team player
High attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure
Confident using Excel
AAT qualification or equivalent - Desirable
