Overview
An established automotive retail business in the South of England is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join its dealership in Waterlooville. This opportunity has arisen due to internal progression and is ideal for a driven individual who can lead a high-performing sales team and continue to build on existing success.

Key Responsibilities
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving both sales performance and profitability by effectively managing the sales function and ensuring alignment with brand standards and business objectives.
Responsibilities include:
* Leading and supporting junior management, including oversight of team leaders and their respective sales and administrative staff.
* Coaching and developing the wider sales team to help achieve individual and departmental targets.
* Ensuring all team members are fully trained and up to date with product knowledge and brand requirements.
* Creating and delivering departmental business plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
* Managing all financial aspects of the department such as marketing spend, operating costs, and revenue targets.
* Monitoring and maintaining administrative processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
* Ensuring all customer enquiries are handled professionally and consistently, following established sales procedures.
* Overseeing accurate record-keeping and reporting across all sales activities.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience within the automotive retail sector.
* Strong numerical and communication skills.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Proven leadership ability with experience managing and motivating a team.
* Customer-focused mindset with a track record of delivering excellent service.
* Experience working in a target-driven sales environment.
* Ability to drive results and adapt to changing business demands.
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 18:00 (with one weekday off and lunch break)
* Saturday: 08:30 – 17:00 (rota basis)
* Sunday: 10:00 – 16:00 (rota basis)
