Team Leader - Doctors Recruitment Essex | Onsite Up to £50,000 salary DOE negotiable commission Medical/Doctors Recruitment (Temp & Adhoc) Progression to Divisional Manager An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Team Leader to join a thriving Doctors Recruitment Division within a well-established healthcare recruitment business. With a strong presence across the NHS and private sector throughout England, Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland, this division is expanding rapidly and now requires a capable leader to take it to the next level. As Team Leader, you’ll play a hands-on leadership role managing and mentoring the existing team, developing new strategies for expansion and actively billing on your own desk. The role is heavily focused on candidate resourcing, account management and bookings with minimal cold BD required due to the current client demand. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a team of 2 Recruiters fostering a culture of collaboration and success. Develop and execute a growth strategy for the Doctors division. Manage your own recruitment desk handling client accounts and candidate placements. Oversee temporary and adhoc bookings, ensuring high service standards and compliance. Grow candidate pipelines and attract new talent through proactive sourcing. Work closely with both framework and private healthcare clients to meet staffing demands. Utilise support from the India based back office team for resourcing and admin tasks. Produce and present a 12-month business plan as part of the interview process, outlining market approach and expansion strategy. Requirements Proven experience within Doctors/Medical Recruitment, ideally temp-focused. Previous leadership or mentoring experience. Strong candidate resourcing and account management skills. Commercially astute with the ability to create and deliver growth strategies. Excellent communication, organisation, and people management skills.
