As a Night Auditor at Breadsall Priory, you will play a key role in both administrative duties and guest service. The position is responsible for completing end-of-day reporting tasks while also ensuring that every guest feels welcomed, valued, and appreciated.
Main Responsibilities
Complete end-of-day activities, including posting charges to accounts, running night audit backups, and rolling the date
Process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit transactions
Print contingency lists to maintain accurate records of all guests in case of emergency
Operate the telephone switchboard, including handling wake-up call requests
Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and professionally
Deliver excellent guest service by understanding needs, recommending suitable services, and building guest loyalty to Marriott
Ensure the accuracy and completion of folios, room changes, and credit approvals
Provide a quick, efficient, and friendly check-in and departure experience
Comply with cash handling and credit policies and procedures
Complete nightly checklist tasks to ensure smooth hotel operations
Provide information to guests regarding hotel facilities, services, hours of operation, room locations, and rates
Follow room selling strategies, cancellation policies, and walk procedures
Handle messages and enquiries via the switchboard promptly and professionally
Be fully aware of Accident Reporting, Maintenance Fault, and Fire Safety procedures
