We're recruiting on behalf of a Services Provider assisting them with a search for an IT Support Engineer where you will act as an escalation point for any P1 incidents.
As an IT Support Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Deliver first-line support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Troubleshoot laptop issues, re-image laptops and resolve connectivity, perform password resets
Floor walking to assist users, especially during P1 incidents
Support new starts with access setup
Proactively manage open tickets by providing consistent and timely status updates.
Proven skills and experience to help succeed in this role include:
Previous experience working within a desk side environment, within a customer related industry.
Good understanding of PCs, Windows OS, and ticketing systems
Excellent communication and timekeeping skills.
An understanding of ITIL best practices.
