Middleweight Show Home Designer
Novak & Parkes Designs is growing, and we’re looking for a talented Middleweight Show Home Designer to join our studio.
This is an opportunity to work within a close‑knit, design‑led team on show homes for nationwide developers, with occasional involvement in our private residential projects. You’ll be part of a studio that values creativity, personality and thoughtful design, with the chance to shape distinctive interiors from concept through to installation.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll need at least 3 years’ experience working within the show‑home design industry, with the confidence to take projects from initial design stages through to final installation.
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Creative, forward‑thinking and confident in their design approach
* Highly organised with strong time‑management skills
* Comfortable juggling multiple projects at once
* Practical and hands‑on when it comes to installs and on‑site styling
* A strong communicator who can present ideas clearly to clients and the wider team
Essential Skills
* Proficiency in Photoshop and InDesign (Adobe Creative Suite)
* Full UK driving licence
* Experience installing and styling show homes on site
* CAD proficiency (helpful but not essential)
* CSCS card
* Experience conducting pre‑site checks
The Role
This is a predominantly studio‑based position, with travel required for:
* Full show‑home installations and styling (with occasional overnight stays)
* Client consultations and presentations
* Supporting senior designers on private residential schemes as part of your development
* Working alongside our project coordinator to ensure smooth delivery of each project
You’ll be joining us at an exciting point in our growth, with the position starting in early 2026.
