KPMG boasts one of the UK's leading Indirect Tax practices. We provide advice and support across all aspects of Indirect Tax, including VAT, Customs Duty, and Green taxes, to a broad spectrum of sectors, such as retail, supply chain, international trade, and the public sector.
The Indirect Tax practice is dynamic and expanding, with 13 partners and approximately 186 professionals nationwide. We support our clients with a variety of Indirect Tax issues and collaborate closely with specialists in Trade & Customs, Corporate, and Employment tax to deliver value.
What will you be doing?
* Providing Indirect Tax advice to a diverse client base to help them achieve their commercial objectives.
* Delivering indirect tax and advisory compliance services.
* Supporting senior team members in client project delivery.
* Engaging directly with clients and building lasting relationships.
* Assisting in business development initiatives.
* Developing and mentoring Tax Assistants within the team.
* Identifying opportunities to implement technology solutions for compliance and advisory projects.
* Contributing to a friendly, diverse team environment.
What will you need to do it?
* ACA, CTA, or qualified solicitor with at least 3 years of relevant Indirect Tax experience.
* Existing VAT/IPT knowledge or transferable skills.
* A commitment to developing your Indirect Tax expertise.
* Willingness to expand skills in communication, networking, and business development.
* Effective oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to manage and prioritize workload.
* Strong relationship-building skills with colleagues and clients.
* Proactive in identifying issues and opportunities to enhance clients’ Indirect Tax processes.
* High levels of motivation, enthusiasm, and resilience under pressure.
* Eagerness to learn and deliver quality work to uphold KPMG’s reputation.
