ROLE OVERVIEW We are currently looking for a Maintenance Planner to join a leading organisation in the chemical manufacturing sector, based in a global corporation committed to innovation and sustainability. As part of the maintenance team, you will be central to ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and safety across maintenance site activities. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Your duties as the Maintenance Planner will be varied; however, the key duties and responsibilities are as follows: Develop, manage, and optimise preventative and reactive maintenance schedules in line with operational demands and safety standards. Ensure all maintenance and engineering tasks are compliant with legislative and company SHEQ requirements. Investigate equipment breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimise downtime. Evaluate and coordinate resources, including manpower and materials, for maintenance activities, and assist in measuring performance through KPIs. As the Maintenance Planner, you will support the management of contractor activities and deputise for the Maintenance Team Manager when required. ROLE REQUIREMENTS To be successful in your application to this exciting role as the Maintenance Planner, we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history: A n Engineering qualification or equivalent industry experience. Proven site-based experience of 5 years within chemical, pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or biotech industries, with demonstrable SHEQ compliance and CMMS expertise.
