Main Purpose
This role presents a long-term, engaging, and rewarding opportunity as a key member of Bilfinger UK’s expanding inspection team at Hinkley Point C. In the role of an NDT Technician, you will play a crucial role in the execution of a quality NDT service throughout the site.
Main Responsibilities
* Accurately interpreting and documenting test findings in alignment with procedures and industry acceptance standards
* Reviewing colleagues' reports and interpretation of results
* Complete and record daily equipment checks
* Strict adherence to both our internal and site-specific health, safety, environmental, and quality (HSEQ) policies
* Conducting point of work risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment
* Providing mentorship and training to apprentices
* Write detailed and concise inspection technique sheet
Experience and Qualifications
* Essential: PCN Level 2 or equivalent ISO certification in Radiography, MPI and DPI
* Preference for candidates with additional NDT qualifications (PCN ARS, UT, VT)
* Experience with new build, construction site weld testing
* Desirable: knowledge of IRR
* Can-do, problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
Role - Full time, On-Site
Rotation - 2 on 2 off
