Join our caring and dynamic team at Banana Moon Day Nurseries as a Nursery Bank Staff member! In this flexible role, you'll support our nurseries when needed, ensuring every child receives top-quality care and attention.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Assisting in various rooms, adapting to the needs of each group as required.
* Engaging with children through play and activities, supporting their emotional and educational development.
* Helping with mealtimes and ensuring children are safe and comfortable.
* Building positive relationships with children, parents, and the nursery team.
* Maintaining a clean and organized environment in line with health and safety procedures.
* Following and promoting nursery policies and procedures.
This role is ideal for individuals looking for flexibility and the opportunity to gain experience in an energetic, caring environment.
Requirements
* Experience working with young children is preferable but not mandatory.
* Positive, flexible approach with a team-oriented mindset.
* Strong communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with children.
* Willing to cover various shifts and work on an ad-hoc basis.
* Must be willing to complete a DBS check.
* Basic knowledge of early years development is an advantage.
