We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Service Designer to join a high-profile government programme delivering digital transformation at scale.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex, user-centred services within a fast-paced environment, applying GDS (Government Digital Service) standards and principles.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end service design across complex digital services
* Map and improve user journeys, ensuring services meet user needs
* Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams including product, research, and delivery
* Apply GDS standards, playbooks, and service assessments
* Facilitate workshops and stakeholder engagement sessions
* Produce service blueprints, artefacts, and design documentation
Essential Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Service Designer within government or public sector
* Strong knowledge of GDS principles and service standards
* Experience working on large-scale digital transformation programmes
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
* Ability to work autonomously in a fully remote environment
