The Role –
Working as part of the Transportation and Logistics team the Vehicle Progressor plays a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient movement of vehicles throughout the preparation and sales process. You will coordinate vehicle logistics, support the sales and service teams, and help maintain high standards across the site to ensure customers receive their vehicles in excellent condition.

Main Responsibilities
1. Safely and efficiently progress new and used vehicles from arrival through preparation, inspection, and readiness for sale or customer handover.
2. Liaise closely with sales, service, preparation and logistics teams to ensure vehicles move through each stage efficiently
3. Perform vehicle inspections to ensure they meet company standards and identify any matters requiring attention
4. Update internal systems with accurate vehicle status information
5. Manage placement and movement of vehicles on-site and at the vehicle compound to ensure organised and safe parking
6. Maintain a tidy, safe, and well‑organised site at all times
7. Liaise with external suppliers such as transport companies and refurbishment partners when needed
Requirements
8. Experience in an automotive, dealership, logistics, or similar environment
9. Experience moving vehicles in a dealership forecourt and compound environment
10. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform thorough vehicle inspections.
11. Basic understanding of automotive documentation and systems
12. Strong organisational and time‑management skills
13. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
14. Good communication skills and confidence working with different teams
15. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
16. Flexibility to work varied hours as and when required.
17. Full clean UK driving licence is an essential requirement.

The Bolton Kia dealership spans across two separate buildings, both based on Middlebrook Retail Park, with free parking, located off Junction 6 of the M61. The nearest train station is Horwich Parkway.
