Quality Improvement Manager - West Midlands
Contract: 12 MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT (MATERNITY COVER), 40 hours per week, mainly Monday to Friday but flexible. Location: West Midlands (Tipton, Kings Heath, Tile Cross, Walsall)
Responsibilities
* Support the Clinical Director to deliver the Exemplar Quality Strategy, which includes: Clinical Excellence, Sustainable outstanding quality, Digital Transformation.
* Work closely with the Operational team (Clinical Nurse Managers) to offer support, coach, and maintain an action‐focused approach.
* Serve as a link nurse for one of the specialisms (Nutrition and Hydration, Tissue Viability, End of life) and update related policies and paperwork.
* Follow an improvement strategy per service focusing on compliance and effectiveness of:
o Quality Assurance (clinical stats management, RCA, follow‑up)
o Care plans and risk assessments
* Support CNMs to update action plans following internal or external inspections.
* Ensure specialist training analysis reviews are conducted monthly and provide support for optimal compliance.
* Assist with the development of quality policies, procedures, audit materials and Service User information.
* Support implementation of new initiatives to improve Service User quality of life.
Qualifications
* Registered nurse, ideally with a nursing degree.
* Evidence of further professional development in care, management or quality.
* Ideally a coaching qualification, able to coach and motivate others.
* Strong background in action planning and Service User care focus.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Pragmatic, strong problem‐solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively across the business.
* Ability to travel to all locations of the business.
