A global leader in the design and manufacture of high-performance systems and components is seeking an Electronics Maintenance Engineer responsible for ensuring the optimal performance, maintenance, and continuous improvement of manufacturing equipment.
Role Description: Electronics Maintenance Engineer
* We are looking for a mechatronics engineer with an electronics bias.
* You will provide technical support to shift equipment engineers covering all areas of silicon wafer processing equipment, packaging, and testing.
* Lead and participate in equipment installations, improvements, and troubleshooting of underlying equipment issues. This equipment is housed within three clean areas requiring full gowning.
* This is a multi-disciplined role involving hands-on work with gases, chemicals, robotics, vacuum, electrical, and electronics.
* We seek a team player with excellent organizational skills who can manage their own time and workload efficiently.

Responsibilities: Electronics Maintenance Engineer
* Project work, installing new equipment, and making equipment modifications. Providing necessary documentation and training to others.
* Respond rapidly to equipment issues, ensuring timely repairs and providing clear updates to production teams.
* Lead cross-functional teams and external engineers, recording actions and meeting minutes on complex issues.
* Responsible for producing all risk assessments for equipment, hosting and reviewing contractor method statements and risk assessments, and issuing permits to work.
Experience and Qualifications: Electronics Maintenance Engineer
* Experience in a multidisciplinary role with strong electronics skills. Educated with a minimum of HNC in electronics.
