Job Description
We are working with an elite sports organisation based in the West Midlands who are seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Head of Partnership Sales to lead and grow all sponsorship, partnerships and advertising streams across the Club’s fan and business-facing revenue streams. This newly reshaped role is pivotal to realising the Club’s long-term ambitions to become a premier destination for live sport, entertainment, and hospitality in the region. This is a rare opportunity to take a senior leadership position within elite sport with a modern, ambitious outlook — blending tradition with innovation to create exceptional experiences for fans, partners, and corporate clients alike. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO), the Head of Partnership Sales will lead on strategy, performance and execution & will be responsible for setting strategic direction, managing and coaching a high-performing team, and delivering growth through robust planning, pipeline management, and cross-functional collaboration. Key responsibilities include:
* Develop and implement multi-year sales strategies and go-to-market plans across B2C and B2B revenue streams
* Lead, coach and develop a team of managers and specialists to deliver outstanding results and customer experiences
* Lead sponsorship and advertising sales from prospecting through to negotiation, contracting and onboarding.
* Shape rights packages, pricing and proposals; collaborate with Marketing on creative brand activations and with delivery on measurement/fulfilment.
* Represent the commercial function at internal leadership meetings and high-profile events
You will bring a proven track record in senior sales leadership, ideally within sport, entertainment, venues, or hospitality, and have experience managing commercial & partnership portfolios. We are looking to engage with individuals possess the following experience:
* Senior-level sales leadership across B2C and B2B revenue streams
* Proven success in delivering seven-figure targets with strong margin control
* Strong pipeline, pricing and forecasting expertise
* Excellent stakeholder and client relationship management
* Team leadership: coaching, performance management, and development
This is an exciting full-time, on-site position based in the West Midlands.
