Business Development Manager – Civil Litigation Location: Liverpool City Centre Employment Type: Full Time The Role We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record of sourcing and managing introducers of civil litigation work. This is a key position within our firm, offering the opportunity to play a pivotal role in driving new instructions and maintaining valuable referral relationships. Key Responsibilities: · Identify, source, and onboard new introducers of civil litigation work to the firm. · Develop, maintain, and nurture long-term relationships with introducers, ensuring a consistent flow of quality instructions. · Work closely with the Directors. Senior Managers and First Response Team to ensure seamless transition from initial enquiry to allocation to fee earner. · Track performance of introducers and provide regular reporting to senior management. · Monitor and manage clawbacks with introducers as and when they fall due. · Contribute to strategic planning for business development initiatives. About You: · Significant experience in business development within a legal environment, specifically focused on civil litigation. · A strong network of existing contacts and introducers in the sector is highly desirable. · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly. · Proactive, target-driven, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. · Commercially astute, with a clear understanding of the civil litigation market.
