Business Systems Administrator

An opportunity to join AFH Wealth Management, one of the UK’s leading independent financial advisory and wealth management firms.

The purpose of this role is to provide support to the wider business for all business systems. Liaising with relevant software providers to resolve various issues, performing data cleansing activities where necessary, to ensure all data held within our internal systems is accurate and up to date.


As our Business Systems Administrator, you will typically:

* Activating and maintaining system access for staff and advisers ensuring records are kept up to date
* Assisting with back-office support and liaising with external providers and Internal departments to resolve queries
* Assisting to identify any data errors, then helping to rectify as soon as possible, with root cause analysis completion & recommendations to resolve
* Management of back-office field definitions including addition, updating, merging and deletion
* Understanding and learning new processes and developments within the systems, in order to provide support once rolled out
* Dealing with incoming queries, including validation, classification and reviewing.


What we are looking for in our ideal Business Systems Administrator:

* Excellent planning, organisation & communication skills
* Demonstrable ability to problem solve and work off own initiative
* Proficient in analysing, interpreting and organising data, with an eye for detail and accuracy
* IT literacy, with knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook & Excel)
* Experience in a financial services environment in desirable.
