About the Role
:
As a Multi Skilled Operative, you will carry out day to day responsive repairs within occupied social housing properties across your assigned patch.
1. Carry out responsive repairs across social housing properties
2. Repair and replace skirting boards, architraves and internal door frames
3. Install and adjust kitchen units, worktops and cupboard doors
4. Repair or replace internal doors, locks, handles and hinges
5. Identify and fix minor plumbing issues such as leaks and blockages
6. Complete patch plastering and making good damaged walls and ceilings
7. Carry out wall and floor tiling repairs, including grouting and sealing
8. Complete painting and decorating to a professional finish
9. Ensuring all repairs are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
10. Work respectfully in occupied homes, maintaining residents’ privacy and comfort
11. Accurately record job details, materials used and completion notes
12. Maintain equipment and a company vehicle in good working order
13. Participate in an out of hours emergency repair rota when required
Key Criteria:
14. Experience in plastering
15. Experience in other domestic repairs and maintenance across multiple trades (e.g. carpentry, plumbing, tiling, painting)
16. Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload
17. Strong customer service skills and a professional approach
18. Ability to provide your own tools, as tools will not be provided
19. Full UK manual driving licence
