About the Role: As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering creative and interactive lessons that meet the needs of pupils in Years 1 and 2. You will promote a stimulating learning environment, ensuring pupils are supported both academically and personally in line with the national curriculum. KS1 Teacher Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality lessons tailored to the KS1 curriculum Support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development Plan and assess lessons to ensure pupil progress Maintain strong behaviour management within the classroom Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership teams Provide feedback and maintain accurate records of student progress Promote a safe and inclusive classroom environment Skills & Requirements for Key Stage 1 Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Recent experience teaching within a KS1 classroom A sound understanding of the KS1 national curriculum Strong classroom and behaviour management skills Ability to inspire and motivate young learners Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one) Why Join GSL Education?
