About the Role: Based at Bedgebury Café, Goudhurst, Kent, TN17 2SJ, you will be working 37.5 hours a week (working 5 days out of 7 on a rota basis) The shift times will be 8:00am - 16:00pm. You'll play a key role in preparing and serving meals to a high standard while ensuring food safety and hygiene regulations are followed. Your responsibilities will include: Food preparation: handling day-to-day duties and ensuring dishes meet site standards. Cooking and service: managing your station and delivering food on time. Safety and hygiene: following best practices with equipment, utensils, and food storage. Stock management: keeping ingredients fresh and reordering stock, when supplies run low. Teamwork: collaborating with the culinary team to maintain quality and service throughout the shift. Who are we looking for? Proven chef experience. Level 2 Catering & Hospitality qualification or equivalent. Knowledge of cooking methods and processes, with the ability to multitask under pressure. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Food hygiene certification at Level 2 (desirable). What You'll Bring Must hold a valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle. Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
