In-house Employment Solicitor
Location: South Yorkshire
Overview: Unique opportunity to join a well-known retailer as their in-house Employment Solicitor. Candidates seeking part-time or full-time roles will be considered.
Responsibilities:
1. Handling a wide range of employment law matters, both contentious and non-contentious.
2. Collaborating with internal stakeholders such as HR and Employee Relations to provide employment law advice and draft employment contracts.
3. Drafting and updating employment policies and procedures, and working on group projects.
4. Managing Employment Tribunal claims up to preliminary hearings and instructing counsel thereafter.
Qualifications:
1. Qualified Solicitor with solid experience in Employment Law.
2. Experience advising in-house legal teams on employment matters, either within an in-house setting or private practice.
3. Ability to build and maintain relationships across the organization, providing clear and concise advice.
