We are looking for a Customer Delivery Operative to deliver goods to customers, whilst also providing an excellent customer service experience.
Key responsibilities include:
* Manual handling of heavy, bulky items in a safe and careful manner.
* Ensure customers receive the accurate hire equipment on time and in a positive & friendly manner in accordance with our delivery targets
* Resolve problems promptly, communicating with customers and colleagues as required.
* Follow safe working processes/practices while driving and loading/unloading, using appropriate machinery.
* Communicate with colleagues in other departments to ensure customer requirements are met.
* Operate THX’s delivery IT system, updating the system data and taking pictures of equipment.
* Raise issues and opportunities to improve the THX operations.
* Identify sales opportunities while travelling and report these back to the sales team.
Requirements
* Experience in a customer-facing role, providing excellent customer service.
* Previous experience of driving professionally & delivering goods is preferred, but not essential.
* Manual handling and the ability to maneuver heavy equipment.
* A valid, clean UK driving license for manual vehicles.
* Computer literate with a familiarity of IT and navigation systems.
* Reliable, flexible and a strong team-player.
* Comfortable driving in congested areas include London.
