Supported Housing Service Manager
Location: Durham
Contract: Temporary with potential for extension
Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week with some flexibility.
Pay: £17.00 - £20.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
* Day-to-day management of supported housing services for young people aged 18-25, ensuring positive outcomes and successful move‑on.
* Deliver a high-quality supported housing service, continuously improving performance in line with contractual obligations.
* Ensure sufficient staffing levels to deliver an effective service.
* Partner with external organisations and professionals to ensure consistent service delivery.
* Represent the organisation at meetings and local events, building relationships to secure a consistent flow of referrals.
Requirements
* Experience working with young people or those with complex needs (e.g., homelessness, mental health, substance misuse, offending behaviour).
* Experience in effectively coaching, mentoring and managing staff teams.
* Knowledge of supported accommodation and other services available to those experiencing homelessness.
* Experience with health and safety and housing management responsibilities.
* Demonstrated understanding of safeguarding requirements and professional boundaries.
* Understanding and ability to implement risk management, information sharing and data security arrangements.
