This is a great opportunity for an experienced Head Housekeeper to join a high-performing leadership team and oversee the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping department within a prestigious luxury environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining impeccable standards of cleanliness, presentation, and guest satisfaction across all guest-facing and operational areas. Roles & Responsibilities Lead the daily operations of the housekeeping department, ensuring the highest standards are consistently delivered across guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas. Organise team schedules, task allocation, and departmental workflow to maximise efficiency and productivity. Conduct regular quality inspections, addressing issues promptly and ensuring compliance with operational and safety standards. Oversee linen, laundry, stock control, and equipment management to maintain service levels and cost efficiency. Support and develop supervisors and team members through training, coaching, and performance management. Collaborate closely with cross-functional departments to ensure seamless communication and an exceptional guest experience. Assist in managing budgets, labour planning, and cost-control initiatives without compromising luxury service standards. Contribute to continuous improvement projects, operational enhancements, and long-term departmental development. Candidate Requirements Proven leadership experience within housekeeping operations in a luxury hotel, resort, or high-end hospitality environment. Strong understanding of housekeeping standards, quality control, and operational efficiency. Excellent organisational and people management skills, with the ability to motivate diverse teams. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining elevated presentation standards. Sound knowledge of health, safety, hygiene, and chemical handling procedures. Hands-on, proactive, and adaptable approach with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced setting.
