British Sign Language Trained Support Worker – Full Time + Sleep in shifts available
Location: Margate, Kent Salary: £12.26 per hour Hours: Full Time (Long Day Shifts & Sleep-Ins) Driver Preferred

Are you trained in British Sign Language (BSL Levels 1, 2 or 3)? Do you have a good understanding of autism? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
We’re looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join our team in Margate, supporting a male individual with autism in his own home. This is a full-time role with long day shifts and sleep-ins. A driving licence is preferred, as you’ll need to support community access and outings.
Please note: You must have the right to work full time in the UK without sponsorship to apply.
What You’ll Do
* Support with daily living skills like cooking, dressing, and household tasks
* Assist with medication and care plans
* Encourage social interaction and support hobbies
* Promote independence and wellbeing
* Safeguard and protect individual rights
About You
* BSL trained (Level 1, 2 or 3) – essential
* Knowledge of autism and experience with challenging behaviour – desirable
* Empathetic, reliable, and calm under pressure
* Energetic, kind and ready to make a difference
* Confident working both independently and as part of a team
