A leading Big 4 Accountancy firm is seeking M&A Tax professionals at the Assistant Manager to Director levels to join their expanding Deal Advisory Tax team.
The Deal Advisory Tax team provides market-leading services to both Corporate and Financial investors. They focus on four key markets: Corporates; Private Equity & Credit; Real Estate; and Energy & Infrastructure. The team is national and connected, fostering collaboration and shared learning.
Corporate Clients: They work with FTSE 100 and 250 companies, supporting strategic acquisitions, carve-outs, de-mergers, disposals, and joint ventures within the UK and cross-border. Their sector coverage includes Consumer, Life Sciences, TMT, Industrials, ENR, and Banking & Insurance.
Asset Management: They collaborate with Private Equity, Infrastructure, Renewable/Energy Transition, and Real Estate Funds, along with institutional investors like Sovereign Wealth Funds and Pension Funds. Clients have UK, European, and Global investment strategies, offering diverse transaction experiences.
The team covers the entire deal spectrum, including buy-side due diligence and structuring, sell-side vendor assistance, refinancing, and listing support. Deal sizes range from £10m to over £10bn, serving a variety of clients and deal types.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with Partners and/or Directors on complex transactions to deliver exceptional advice and service.
* Support in pursuing new opportunities, including proposals and pitches.
* Develop and maintain client relationships within Deal Advisory.
* Act as a key contact for clients, legal advisers, and other teams to ensure effective delivery.
* Coach and develop colleagues, collaborate with peers, and pursue continuous learning.
* Prepare and oversee detailed technical advice on UK and international tax issues.
* Analyze tax-related documents/data, highlighting key issues and their commercial impact.
* Collaborate with UK and overseas tax specialists, critically analyzing their input.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK and OECD tax developments.
* Understand financial models from a tax perspective.
* Contribute to Deal Advisory Tax thought leadership.

* Qualified CTA or ACA/CA or equivalent.
