Billing Administrator Job type: Full Time Location: Hybrid (Office is based at Liverpool St) About Ten Eight-time winners of the Tatler Gym Awards, Ten is a values-led lifestyle business focused on helping people move, feel and look better through Pilates, Physiotherapy, Massage and specialist 1-1 training. With 10 Studios across London, our teams provide a holistic, end-to-end rehab, fitness and wellbeing service that’s still missing in the fitness industry. In fact, what we’ve come to call our Circle of Care remains unique within the UK. Ever heard of Circle of Care? Well Ten prides themselves on genuinely, deeply taking care of their clients. From injury to rehab, massage, strength/ conditioning and Reformer Pilates. They want to build the relationship and see you through every stage of your health and fitness journey. Role We are looking for a Billing Administrator with experience in private medical insurance invoicing. You will manage the full billing cycle, from submitting claims to insurers like AXA and Bupa UK, to tracking payments and resolving queries. The role also involves chasing insurers, obtaining remittances, and following up with patients for outstanding balances. Key Responsibilities · Collect billing data from the Mind Body platform · Prepare, submit, and track insurance claims · Maintain accurate records in the billing database · Verify client insurance coverage and authorisations · Liaise with insurers, patients, and internal teams to resolve billing queries · Ensure compliance with company policy and insurance rules · Follow up on unpaid, rejected, or delayed claims · Invoice clients for excess amounts and chase payment · Provide billing reports and updates to management · Support clinicians and front desk staff to minimise errors and delays · Handle escalated billing queries from patients · Identify and implement process improvements Requirements · Experience billing private medical insurance · Knowledge of physiotherapy billing and insurance processes · Strong Excel skills · High attention to detail and accuracy under deadlines · Excellent communication and problem solving skills Preferred · Experience in a physiotherapy or healthcare setting · Familiarity with Healthcode billing systems What We Offer · Competitive salary · Pension scheme and Cycle Scheme · Training and development opportunities · Supportive and collaborative team environment to thrive and grow professionally ​
