Your NewpanyHays Education are working in partnership with a well-established and supportive Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Salford. The school provides a nurturing and structured environment for students aged 11–16 who are not currently in mainstream education. The team ismitted to helping students re-engage with learning and develop both academically and emotionally.
Your New JobYou will be delivering creative and therapeutic Art lessons to small groups of students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The role requires a flexible andpassionate approach, with a focus on building positive relationships and supporting students’ personal development. This is a full-time position starting in September 2025, initially on a temporary basis with the strong potential to be permanent based on fit and performance.
What You'll Need to Succeed
1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
2. Experience teaching Art at secondary level
3. A strong understanding of SEMH and behaviour management strategies
4. The ability to inspire and engage students withplex needs
5. A resilient, empathetic, and adaptable teaching style
