The Quality Inspector will be required to conduct the inspection of all pump component parts to the standards explained in the Bill of Materials.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities (essential Functions)
* Inspection and recording of component dimensions in accordance with the engineering drawings and specifications for each pump component.
* Recording and documenting of component deficiencies via our NCR system (SAP).
* An ability to understand and interpret complex engineering drawings for dimensional and visual acceptance.
Education And Experience
* Time served within an engineering function, with at least 3 years relevant experience preferably in a heavy manufacturing environment with a machining bias.
* An ability to use a wide variety of metrology equipment and have experience in a similar environment or industry. A basic knowledge of computers and good communication skills.
* Manufacturing experience, HS&E awareness.
* A working knowledge of CMMs, along with an understanding of NDE processes would be an advantage.
