Key Responsibilities
* Plan, design, and implement customized VoIP solutions tailored to client requirements.
* Install, configure, and troubleshoot VoIP hardware and software (IP phones, routers, switches, servers).
* Provide ongoing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for VoIP systems, promptly addressing any issues.
* Monitor VoIP network performance, optimising call quality and system reliability as needed.
* Ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards, including the implementation of encryption and access controls.
* Document VoIP configurations, network diagrams, and installation processes.
* Train clients and end-users on VoIP system features and functionality.
Requirements
What we’re looking for
* Proven experience with VoIP system installation, configuration, and support.
* Strong understanding of VoIP protocols, codecs, and SIP.
* Knowledge of network protocols and LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers and switches.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
* Certifications such as CCNA or VoIP-specific credentials are advantageous.
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
